Yachiyo Farm [八千代牧場]

Yachiyo Farm is a public pasture located about 30 km southwest of the central area of Obihiro city.

Over 1,500 cows (in winter, 600 cows) and about 70 horses are put out to the pasture of over 740 hectares. (The total area is about 975 hectares.)

It is a formal livestock facility, but the walking trails and a few observatories are set up for visitor and there are a restaurant.
And, you can try to making sausage in the training facility.

How to get here

There is no public transportation.
You can go to there by using a rental car. (About 45 minutes from Obihiro station.)
