The view from the top is very wonderful.
Especially the night view is great, therefore it is called "one of the world's three major night views along with Naples and Hong Kong".
A ropeway is operated from the foot to the top.
The station at the foot is around the south part of Motomachi area.
It is operated between 10:00 and 22:00 from late April to the middle of October.
In other period, it is operated between 10:00 and 21:00.
The ropeway reaches the observatory on the top.
The scenery from the observatory is nice.
And there are restaurant, cafe and souvenir shop in the observatory.
